All of our promotions are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) and meet the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) guidelines of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
If a promotion has age restrictions, child registration attempts are monitored and future attempts to register are blocked if the child tries later to reregister, falsifying his or her birth date. If children are allowed to participate in a promotion, automated confirmation e-mails can be sent to parents that can either include a parent permission form (to be mailed in) or a link to an online parent permission form.
